A first plan

A first NDIS plan does not need to be rushed

Getting a first plan can feel like a countdown. Providers start calling, there is talk of using your funding before you lose it, and it is easy to sign with the first name that sounds reassuring. There is almost never a good reason to rush.

Our honest advice, even though it may cost us a booking, is to take a couple of weeks, talk to two or three providers, and only sign a service agreement once you understand it. Ask about notice periods, cancellation terms and what happens if the fit is wrong.

When you are ready, we keep first agreements flexible with short notice periods, so choosing us never feels like being locked in.

Getting started

How to start a first plan well

  1. 1

    Understand the plan first

A free call to walk through what your plan actually funds, with no pressure to commit.

  2. 2

    Compare a few providers

We genuinely suggest talking to two or three others, so your choice is an informed one.

  3. 3

    Read the agreement

We go through the service agreement, notice periods and cancellation terms before you sign.

  4. 4

    Start when you are ready

Support begins on your date, on flexible terms, so nothing feels locked in.

Local knowledge

Across the City of Frankston

The council runs from the bay at Seaford and Frankston down and inland to Langwarrin, Langwarrin South, Carrum Downs, Skye and Sandhurst. Frankston is the busy centre at the end of the train line, while the eastern suburbs are newer, greener and more spread out.

We plan support around that spread, so the newer estates towards Langwarrin and Sandhurst get the same dependable timing as the streets close to the station and the foreshore.

The difference

Straight advice, even when it costs us

We would rather you choose us with your eyes open than sign in a hurry and regret it. So we tell people to take their time, compare providers and read the fine print, because a participant who made an informed choice tends to stay, and to be happier while they do.

When you do start with us, first agreements are kept flexible with short notice periods. If the fit is not right, you are free to change, and that confidence is exactly why most people stay.

Before you commit

What to check before you choose

You do not have to take our word for any of this. Here is what you can verify for yourself.

A registered provider

Our NDIS provider number is 4-L7JCZ6S. You can look it up on the NDIS Commission provider register.

Screened workers

Every worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and a police check before they meet you.

Trained and current

Workers hold first aid and CPR and work to the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards.

Real reviews

Funding and cost

What support costs, with no surprises

We charge in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, so the rate is clear before a shift. Quotes are free, there is no call-out fee, and we go through your first invoice with you line by line.

We support plan-managed and self-managed participants, and NDIA-managed participants where the item allows. With a first plan we will happily explain how each of those works.
