What makes the difference

The right support worker changes everything

Most people do not leave an NDIS provider because of the service list. They leave because the person turning up does not understand them. A participant who prays five times a day needs a worker who knows to schedule around it. A woman who wants female only personal care should not have to ask twice. Someone whose first language is Arabic or Urdu should not have to translate their own care instructions.

So we treat matching as the actual job. Before we roster anyone, we ask what matters to you, then we find someone who fits. If the fit is wrong, we change the worker, not your expectations.

Tell us what you need

We match your support for

  • Language, so nothing important gets lost
  • Gender preference, particularly for personal care
  • Culture and faith, including halal food and prayer times
  • Routine, because your day should not bend around our roster
  • Personality, since you are letting this person into your home

Culturally responsive

Support that respects your faith, language and family

Ahsan Care Provider was built by people who understand what it is like to explain your own culture to a service provider. Halal meal preparation done properly. Prayer times treated as fixed points in the day. Female workers for female participants where that matters. Ramadan schedules adjusted without a debate. Family involved in the way your family actually works.

This is not an add on for us and it is not a marketing line. It is why most of our participants came to us in the first place.

What changes

What good NDIS support actually looks like day to day

Provider websites tend to describe supports as a list of tasks. Here is what participants and families tell us actually changes once the right supports are in place.

Mornings stop being the hardest part of the day

Showering, dressing and getting out the door happen on a schedule that works, with someone who knows how you like things done and does not need reminding every visit.

The house stops sliding backwards

Laundry, dishes, floors and bathrooms get handled before they become overwhelming. For a lot of people this is the single support that makes staying at home viable.

Family go back to being family

When paid supports cover personal care and household tasks, partners and adult children stop being unpaid carers and get the relationship back.

The week has something in it

Community participation supports build a routine outside the house. Not activities picked from a brochure, activities you were already interested in.

Health issues get caught earlier

Regular nursing and support visits mean skin integrity, medication and continence concerns get noticed and escalated before they become hospital admissions.

You stop bracing for the next roster change

Consistent workers who know your routine mean you are not re-explaining your own care plan to a stranger every fortnight.

Getting started

How to start with Ahsan Care

Five steps from first call to first shift. Nothing is charged until a service agreement is signed, and you can stop at any point.

1

Enquiry

Call 0433 650 084 or send the form. Tell us your suburb, what supports you are after and how your plan is managed.

2

Free consultation

We talk through your goals, routine, cultural and language preferences, and what is actually funded in your plan. No cost, no obligation.

3

Worker matching

We put forward a worker who fits your criteria and availability. You meet them before anything is locked in.

4

Service agreement

Supports, hours, rates and cancellation terms in writing, priced within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, before the first shift.

Then we review it. A few weeks in we check what is working and what is not. Timing wrong, tasks not quite right, worker not the right fit, all of it is adjustable. Support that never gets reviewed is support that slowly stops fitting.

Where we work

Melbourne coverage, and Sydney too

Our office is in Derrimut and Melbourne is our primary service area. We also support participants across Sydney. If your suburb is not listed, call and ask, coverage changes as our team grows and we will give you a straight answer either way.

Melbourne suburbs

Sydney suburbs

Two offices, two numbers. Melbourne enquiries go to 0433 650 084 and Sydney enquiries go to 0416 623 317. Our registered business address is 13/22 Makland Dr, Derrimut VIC 3030.

Before you choose

How to compare NDIS providers without wasting three months

There are hundreds of NDIS providers in Melbourne and most of their websites read identically. Registered, person centred, passionate about care. None of that tells you whether they can actually staff your suburb on a Tuesday morning.

These are the questions that separate NDIS service providers in Melbourne from each other, whether you are looking at NDIS support providers for daily living, NDIS home care providers for in home routines, or NDIS personal care providers for hands on assistance. Ask us the same ones, and hold us to the answers.

Questions to ask any NDIS provider
Ask thisWhy it matters What a straight answer sounds like
Are you registered, and what is your provider number? Registered providers are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards. NDIA managed participants can only use registered providers. A number you can look up on the NDIS Commission register, given without hesitation.
Who exactly will be coming to my home? Some providers subcontract heavily, so the person you meet is not the person who turns up. A named worker, their screening status, and a meet and greet before you commit.
What happens if the worker is not right? Mismatch is the most common reason supports fail. The answer tells you how the provider handles being told something is wrong. A clear process to change workers, without penalty and without you having to justify it.
Can you actually staff my suburb, and when? Plenty of providers claim statewide coverage and then cannot roster your area for months. A realistic start date tied to your specific suburb, or an honest no.
How do you handle language, gender and cultural preferences? If this is treated as a special request rather than a normal part of matching, it will not be delivered consistently. Specific examples, not the phrase "we are inclusive".
What is in the service agreement about cancellations? Short notice cancellation charges are set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and vary in how providers apply them. The terms shown to you in writing before you sign, not after your first invoice.
Why Ahsan Care

Why participants and families choose us

Registered, not just NDIS friendly

Ahsan Care Provider is a registered NDIS provider, number 4-L7JCZ6S. You can look us up on the NDIS Commission register before you commit to anything.

You choose the worker

Language, gender preference, cultural background and routine are matching criteria, not afterthoughts. If the match is not right, we change it.

Screened and trained

Every support worker holds NDIS Worker Screening clearance and a police check, and works to the NDIS Code of Conduct.

One team, one point of contact

You are not routed through a call centre. The person who sets up your supports is the person you can call when something needs changing.

Priced from the NDIS price guide

We charge within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Free consultation, no call out fee, and your service agreement is written before anything starts.

Both plan types welcome

Self managed, plan managed and NDIA managed participants are all welcome. We will walk you through how invoicing works for your plan.

Independent proof

Do not take our word for it, look us up

Every provider website says it is trusted and person centred. None of that is checkable. These four things are, and three of them are held by people other than us. Do this before you call anyone, including us.

The register check takes about a minute, and it is the single most useful thing you can do before choosing any provider.

Questions

Common questions about choosing an NDIS provider

Is Ahsan Care a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. Ahsan Care Provider is a registered NDIS provider with registration number 4-L7JCZ6S. Registration means we are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and our workers hold NDIS Worker Screening clearance. You can verify any provider on the NDIS Commission register before you sign anything.
Which parts of Melbourne do you cover?
We deliver disability support services across metropolitan Melbourne, with our office in Derrimut in the west. Coverage is strongest through the western and northern suburbs, and we also support participants in the south east and inner suburbs. Travel time and worker availability in your specific suburb affect start dates, so it is worth asking when you enquire. Our locations page lists the suburbs we currently cover.
Do you work with self managed and plan managed participants?
Yes, all three plan types. Self managed participants are invoiced directly. Plan managed participants have invoices sent to their plan manager. NDIA managed participants have claims submitted through the myplace provider portal. We confirm which applies at the service agreement stage so there are no surprises.
How quickly can support start?
It depends on the supports you need and worker availability in your area. A straightforward household tasks or personal care request in a suburb where we already have workers can move quickly. Nursing supports and requests needing a specific language or gender match take longer because we will not send someone who is not the right fit. We give you a realistic timeframe at the consultation rather than a promise we cannot keep.
What does it cost?
Supports are charged within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which the NDIA publishes and updates. You can read the current arrangements on the NDIS pricing page. The consultation is free and there is no call out fee. Your service agreement sets out the rates before any support starts.
What if the support worker is not the right fit?
Tell us and we will change it. A poor match is the most common reason people leave a provider, and it is easier to fix early. There is no penalty and no awkward conversation required, you contact your coordinator and we arrange someone else.
Do I need a support coordinator to use Ahsan Care?
No. Support coordination is a separate NDIS support that helps you navigate and use your plan. We deliver day to day supports. If you already have a support coordinator we will work with them. If you do not, you can approach us directly.
Are you an NDIS provider near me?
If you are in metropolitan Melbourne, most likely yes. The fastest way to check is to call 0433 650 084 with your suburb, or send an enquiry and we will tell you honestly whether we can service your area and how soon. We would rather say no than take on work we cannot staff properly.
Next step

Let us work out whether we are the right fit

Tell us your suburb, what supports you are looking for and anything that matters about who comes to your home. We will come back with a straight answer about what we can deliver and when. If we are not the right provider for you, we will say so.
